Privacy Policy
What this website does with your information, in plain language. The site itself collects very little. What you enter to book a call goes to Calendly, the scheduling tool we use, and only when you continue to pick a time.

Cookies set by this site
The booking calendar is Calendly's, and may set its own.
The short version
- This website runs no analytics, no advertising pixels and no tracking scripts.
- The site itself sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser.
- No third-party content loads on any page until you continue from the first step of the booking form. At that moment your answers are sent to Calendly, the scheduling tool we use, and its calendar loads in a frame.
- Calendly makes the booking and emails the invite. It may set its own cookies, and it handles the booking under its own privacy notice.
- We use what reaches us, through a booking or by email, to prepare for the call, to reply and, if we go on to work together, to run that work.
Who we are
DataMatrix Labs is a digital marketing agency. This policy covers the website at datamatrixlabs.com. For anything in it, write to hello@datamatrixlabs.com.
What this website collects
You can read every page without telling us who you are. The pages load no third-party scripts or fonts: the typeface and the artwork are served from the same place as the pages themselves.
The one piece of third-party content on the site is the booking calendar on our contact page. It comes from Calendly and loads only if you continue from the first step of the booking form. The next section explains what happens then.
Server logs
Like any website, the servers that deliver these pages receive some technical details with each request: your IP address, your browser type, the page you asked for and the time. Our hosting provider processes this to deliver the site and keep it secure. We do not use it to build profiles of visitors.
Cookies and browser storage
The code that runs this site sets no cookies and does not use your browser's local storage. The booking calendar belongs to Calendly, which may set its own cookies inside its frame once the calendar loads. The cookie policy has the detail.
When you contact us
There are two ways to reach us from this site: book a call through the form on our contact page, or write to the email address shown on it.
Booking a call
The booking form has two steps. There is no server of ours behind it, and this website keeps no copy of what you enter.
- You answer a few questions: your name, your work email and a message, plus your company or website, the services you are interested in and a budget range if you choose to give them. While you fill these in, your answers stay in the page in your browser. Nothing is sent and nothing is saved.
- You continue to pick a time. At that moment your browser loads a booking calendar from Calendly, the scheduling tool we use, in a frame on the page. Your answers are sent to Calendly as part of that request (they are added to the calendar's web address), so the calendar opens with them filled in.
Like any web server, Calendly also receives the technical details that come with a request, such as your IP address and browser type, and it is told that the calendar is being shown on our site.
You then choose a time in Calendly's calendar. Calendly makes the booking and emails the invite to the address you gave. The booking reaches us through our Calendly account, with your name, your email address, the time you chose and your answers.
While the calendar is open, this page listens for two signals from it: how tall the calendar is, and that a time has been confirmed. It uses them to size the frame and to show you a confirmation, and it stores neither.
If you continue to the calendar and then leave without confirming a time, no call is booked. Your answers were still sent to Calendly when the calendar loaded.
Calendly is a separate company. It may set its own cookies inside its frame, and it handles what it receives under its own privacy notice.
Emailing us
If you write to hello@datamatrixlabs.com instead, we receive what any email contains: your name and email address, whatever you write, and the technical headers your email provider adds.
Please leave sensitive personal information, such as health details or financial account numbers, out of your answers and your emails. We do not need it for a first conversation.
How we use what you send
- To prepare for the call you booked, or to reply to your email.
- If we go on to work together, to set up and manage that work.
- To keep a record of our correspondence with you.
Getting in touch does not add you to a mailing list, and we do not sell personal information.
Who we share it with
Calendly, the scheduling tool we use, receives your answers when you continue to the booking calendar, makes the booking and sends the invite. It handles that information under its own privacy notice.
Email you send us is handled by our email provider. Booking details and emails may also be kept in the business tools we use to manage inquiries and client work. Those providers process them on our behalf and only to deliver their service to us.
Beyond that, we share personal information only when the law requires it. We do not sell or rent it, and we do not pass it on for advertising.
How long we keep it
We keep booking details and emails for as long as we need them for the purposes above. We delete them when they are no longer needed, or sooner if you ask us to.
That covers what we hold. For anything Calendly holds in its own right, its privacy notice applies.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us at any time to show you what we hold about you, to correct it or to delete it. Email hello@datamatrixlabs.com and we will respond.
Depending on where you live, local law may give you further rights, for example to object to how your information is used or to complain to your data protection regulator. We will honor the rights that apply to you.
Work we do for clients
When we run marketing for a client we may work inside that client's own accounts, such as their analytics or advertising platforms. That work is covered by our agreement with the client, not by this policy. This page is about this website only.
Links to other sites
This site links to our profiles on social networks and, in places, to other websites. These are plain links. Nothing from those services loads on our pages, and they learn nothing about your visit unless you choose to follow one. After that, their own privacy policies apply. The booking calendar is the one exception, and it is covered above.
Changes to this policy
If the site changes, for example if we add analytics or change how calls are booked, we will update this page before the change goes live and change the date at the top.
Questions
If anything here is unclear, or you want to use any of the rights above, write to hello@datamatrixlabs.com.
